Description

Logistics floors take the hardest life in construction — forklifts, pallet jacks, rack loads, and thousands of wheel passes a day. Li 200 Logistics is a high-solids lithium and nano silica densifier that turns the wear surface of exposed concrete into a harder, denser, dustproof cap. Spray it, leave it, and it dries clear — no brooming, no flushing, no residue removal.

Untreated vs. treated: what the diagram shows

On untreated concrete, wheel traffic abrades the surface paste, causing dusting, rutting, and micro-cracks — the slab dusts, wears, and stains. A floor treated with Li 200 Logistics develops a densified wear zone of calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) at the surface: the sheen builds with traffic instead of wearing away, and the densifier dries clear with nothing to remove.

Spray and leave

Conventional sodium and potassium silicate densifiers make you work for it: keep the slab wet, scrub, flush, squeegee, and haul away the residue — or live with whitening. Li 200 Logistics is a one-pass product. Fully wet the slab, let it dwell 10–15 minutes, and walk away. It penetrates deep, dries clear with nothing to remove, and the floor is back under traffic in 2–3 hours.

Application timeline: Li 200 vs. typical sodium/potassium densifiers

A typical sodium or potassium silicate densifier requires five stages: apply, keep wet and scrub, flush and squeegee, remove residue, then reopen — extra labor and residue disposal. Li 200 Logistics is spray-and-leave: spray to fully wet for 10–15 minutes, it dries clear with no removal, and the floor takes traffic again in 2–3 hours. No brooming, no flushing, no residue. The high-solids lithium + nano silica formula dries clear at 400–800 sq ft per gallon on hard-troweled surfaces (200–400 on broom-finished concrete) — one pass, one crew, done.

What it does for the slab

Function What it means on the floor
DENSIFIES Reacts with free lime to fill surface pores with C-S-H and increase compressive strength
HARDENS Abrasion resistance built for forklift and heavy wheel traffic — less wear over time
DUSTPROOFS Eliminates dusting — cleaner inventory, cleaner air, better traction
RESISTS Improved water and stain resistance on the wear surface
PROTECTS ASR / efflorescence protection — lithium chemistry adds no sodium or potassium alkalis
SHINES Dries clear; sheen builds naturally with traffic and burnishing

How it works

How it works: C-S-H fills the pores

At the wear surface, untreated concrete has open pores holding dust and laitance, and wheels grind the paste away. Li 200’s lithium silicate and nano silica react with free lime in the concrete to form calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), filling the pores and building a hard, dense wear cap that is permanently part of the slab — a chemical reaction, not a coating.

The top fraction of an inch is where a floor lives or dies. Li 200 Logistics penetrates that wear zone and reacts with free lime to grow calcium silicate hydrate — the same binder that gives concrete its strength — directly inside the surface pores. The high-solids lithium and nano silica blend delivers more reactive silica per gallon, and because it becomes part of the slab, the protection doesn’t wear off, peel, or need reapplication programs.

Versus typical sodium/potassium densifiers

Li 200 Logistics Typical Na/K densifier
Chemistry High-solids lithium + nano silica Sodium or potassium silicate
Application Spray and leave — one pass Keep wet, scrub, flush, squeegee
Residue None — dries clear Whitening risk; mechanical removal
Coverage ~400–800 sq ft/gal ~200 sq ft/gal typical
Alkali load (ASR) Protects against ASR / efflorescence Adds sodium/potassium alkalis
Fresh concrete Best applied to fresh pours — aids even cure Typically applied after cure
Warranty 25 years — no proprietary maintenance program Often conditional on branded maintenance products

Comparison reflects typical published characteristics of sodium/potassium silicate densifiers. Verify against project-specific data.

Where to use it

Built for exposed concrete in high- and heavy-traffic environments, interior and exterior:

  • Distribution centers and warehouses
  • Manufacturing plants and transportation terminals
  • Retail and big-box floors
  • Automotive facilities and hangars
  • Exterior flatwork and hardscape

Application

Application steps
  1. Spray — fully wet the slab, no puddles.
  2. Leave — keep wet 10–15 minutes; dries clear.
  3. Traffic — floor back in service in 2–3 hours.

Good to know: apply by fully wetting the slab and avoid puddling — if puddles form, spread them with a push broom. Shield adjacent finished surfaces from overspray, which may discolor them. Li 200 Logistics is compatible with reactive and resin bond breakers. On fresh pours it aids even curing and a separate curing compound isn’t necessary — but if your spec requires one, apply it after Li 200.

FAQ

What is Bone Dry Li 200 Logistics?

A high-solids lithium and nano-silica densifier for exposed concrete floors in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and retail. It reacts with free lime in the wear surface to form additional C-S-H, hardening and dustproofing the floor while it dries clear.

How much does Li 200 cover?

About 400 to 800 square feet per gallon, depending on the porosity of the slab. Send us the square footage and traffic profile and we will size the order.

How is Li 200 applied?

Spray to fully wet the slab without puddling, spreading any puddles with a push broom. Keep it wet for 10 to 15 minutes, then walk away. It dries clear with nothing to broom, flush, or remove.

How soon can forklift traffic return?

In 2 to 3 hours.

Should Li 200 go on a new pour or after the slab cures?

It is best applied to fresh pours, where it aids even curing and a separate curing compound is not necessary. If your specification requires a curing compound, apply it after Li 200. Existing floors take it too; the surface just has to be clean.

Does it change how the floor looks?

No. Li 200 dries clear and leaves the concrete with its natural matte look; there is no film to wear through in traffic lanes.

How is Li 200 different from sodium or potassium silicate densifiers?

Sodium and potassium silicate densifiers leave a residue that has to be scrubbed and flushed off the floor. Li 200 leaves nothing to remove: spray, let it soak, and it dries clear.

What warranty comes with Li 200?

A 25-year warranty with no proprietary maintenance program required.
