Description
Most waterproofing is something you do to concrete. Pro Admix is something concrete is. Dosed into the load at the batch plant — or right in the truck — this VOC-free colloidal nano-silica admixture reduces the porosity of the entire pour and blocks moisture vapor transmission from every cubic inch, not just the top. No spray crew, no waiting for a coat to dry, no onsite moisture testing — and it’s backed by a lifetime flooring and roofing system replacement warranty.

Waterproofing rides in the drum
Pro Admix is dosed at the plant — in with the tail water — so the concrete arrives already sealed. The protection is everywhere in the mix, not just at the top. Dose: 8–10 fl oz per 100 lbs of cement, with no change to slump, flow, set, or cure.
In the mix, not on the schedule
Pro Admix is built on colloidal nano-silica and is free from silicates and alkalis. It goes into normal or lightweight concrete without changing anything a finisher cares about: no effect on the curing process, concrete slump, flow, or set times. The concrete places, finishes, and cures exactly as designed — it just comes out of the chute already waterproofed, with reduced porosity and the path of moisture vapor transmission blocked for the life of the slab.
What it does for the pour
| Function | What it means for the project |
|---|---|
| BORN SEALED | Waterproofing throughout the pour from day zero — reduced porosity, MVER blocked |
| BEHAVES | No change to slump, flow, set times, or curing |
| DELETES | Eliminates costly, time-consuming onsite moisture testing |
| EXTENDS | Longer slab service life — reduced chloride degradation |
| CLEAN | VOC-free; compatible with normal and lightweight concrete |
Every cubic inch

Where the protection lives: integral vs. surface-applied
A surface-applied sealer protects a zone at the top of the slab — cut the concrete and the fresh face is bare. Pro Admix is integral: every cubic inch is treated, so you can cut it, core it, or grind it and it’s still sealed. Both routes work — the admix simply makes the concrete itself the barrier.
Because the protection is mixed through the load, it exists everywhere the concrete does — which is why Pro Admix suits the pours where surfaces get cut, cored, or never see daylight: in-ground pools and other cast-in-place work, concrete underlays for wood, vinyl, and tile flooring, polished concrete floors, roofing systems, and adhered coatings. The finished surfaces above the slab are what the admix ultimately protects.

The line items it deletes

The jobsite to-do list it deletes
With the moisture protection already in the mix, the usual moisture line items disappear: no sealer crew to schedule, no spray-soak-and-wait-to-dry, no onsite moisture testing (ASTM F2170 / F1869). Just pour and finish as normal — the admix deletes the labor, the waiting, and the test reports.
With Pro Admix in the load, the moisture line items come off the schedule: no sealer crew to book, no spray-and-dry window, and no ASTM F2170 or F1869 onsite moisture testing before flooring goes down. And the warranty has a built-in backstop: if Bone Dry ever determines an issue occurred with the admix, we apply Bone Dry Pro Sealer at no additional cost to the owner — with no change to the lifetime warranty.
Which product does your pour need?
| Your situation | Use |
|---|---|
| New pour — waterproofing in the mix, lifetime warranty | Bone Dry Pro Admix |
| New pour — can’t coordinate with the batch plant | Bone Dry Pro, sprayed at placement |
| Existing slab | Bone Dry Original or Plus |
| Rebar corrosion protection in the mix | Bone Dry CI Admixture — dose the two admixes separately |

Batch ticket: dose, mix, pour
Dose: 8–10 fl oz per 100 lbs of cement (520–650 ml per 100 kg); dose separately from other admixtures; slab minimum 3 inches thick.
- Dose — at the plant in with the tail water, or on site into the batch.
- Mix — let the drum blend it through the load (~70 revolutions).
- Pour & finish as normal — no change to slump, flow, set times, or curing.
Sealed from day zero. Lifetime flooring & roofing replacement warranty · onsite rep required for pours over 20 yards.
Good to know: the dose is 8–10 fl oz per 100 lbs of cement (520–650 ml per 100 kg), added with the tail water at the plant — or into the batch on site, giving the drum time to blend it through. Always dose Pro Admix separately from other admixtures, and plan the pour at a minimum of 3 inches thick. It’s compatible with all resinous coating systems; mechanically profile the slab to CSP 3 before those go down. An onsite representative is required for pours over 20 yards to receive the warranty — call us when you schedule the pour and we’ll be there.
