Corrosion Inhibiting Admixture
Carbonation, salts, and other chlorides over time break down the alkaline protections that naturally occur in concrete which prevent steel rebar and other metals from corroding. Bone Dry CI is an amine-based corrosion-inhibiting admixture designed to protect embedded reinforced steel from corrosion due to environmental factors. Bone Dry CI is a dual-action inhibitor that provides anodic and cathodic protection for both ferrous and nonferrous metals. Bone Dry CI creates a layer of protection around embedded reinforced steel preventing corrosion from initiating and extending the life of the structure.
Corrosion Inhibitor Volume | Effective Coverage |
1 Gallon | 4 yards of concrete |
2.5 Gallons | 11 yards of concrete |
5 Gallons | 22 yards of concrete |
55 Gallons | 250 yards of concrete |
275 Gallons | 1250 yards of concrete |
