In 2018, a mixed-use community facility called the Rocky Mount Downtown Community Facility was built in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The center houses a health clinic education facility, retail food and beverage providers, an indoor sports and fitness center, and a civic event center for various community gatherings. The NCIF allocated $3 million for the project, which allowed for over 250 jobs to be created while serving 3,000 individuals in the Rocky Mount community.
